The first annual Children’s Peace Parade was part community fair, part family picnic, and part summer camp! We collaborated with a number of local organizations representing different issues that impact children and families. Attendees visited different activity stations, learned about organizations they can get involved in, and had a whole lot of fun marching together and learning protest songs!
We are back this summer with even more educational programming! In collaboration with Dr. Jen Lacy from PH Community School, we are excited to offer a series of teach-ins leading up to parade day.
The Peace Camp teach-ins will begin June 28th at PH Coffee.
The community picnic & Children’s Peace Parade with local orgs, artists, & movement builders will be July 27th! (*More details to come!)

The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; and I am beginning to suspect that whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality. Or, I am saying, in other words, that we, the elders, are the only models children have. What we see in the children is what they have seen in us–or, more accurately perhaps, what they see in us.
