Raging For: BlaqOut
There is a particular kind of magic that occurs when women, femmes, and non-binary folks are able to take up space, move freely, and dance their asses off in a safe and welcoming space, free of judgement and unwanted attention.
Moms*Rage dances are gatherings for the sake of experiencing joy and fellowship, and to raise money and awareness for causes we care about. We come with all of our rage and leave reminded that we are not alone.
This time (our FOURTH dance!!) we are fundraising for BlaqOut—a nonprofit healthcare organization working to improve healthcare access and create a safe space for Kansas City's Black LGBTQ+ community. Visit their website to learn more about who they are and what they do!
WHAT TO EXPECT: WITCHY VIBES. 90+ MINUTE DANCE PARTY (NO SKIPS). A BAR. A SNACK-LUCK (girl dinner). QUIET ROOM. TAROT & OTHER SITTING-BASED ACTIVITIES. INTERACTIVE ART. SPOOKY SURPRISES. FUN. FRIENDS. A DAMN GOOD PARTY WITH THE BEST FOLKS WE KNOW.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE: Don’t really dance? That’s cool! We’ll have options for folks who prefer to just hang and chat! You’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels best!
P.S. Moms*Rage dances are collaborative events. If you have an idea or skill/specialty to share, give us a holler!

Our themes are an excuse to dress up, just for the fun of it, but you do you! Dress for your own comfort & enjoyment!
