Primavera: Spring Dance!

from $10.00

Primavera is a celebration of spring, nature, and matriarchy. It’s a dance party, a fundraiser for Decarcerate KC, and social gathering for women, femmes, trans, and non-binary folks. 21+.

Our dances are empowering and experiential, with interactive stations to prompt creativity and connection. Come recharge with us and leave filled up with power and purpose (and hopefully a new friend or two!)

Our ethos includes collaboration and contribution—we want you to help make the party! We ask attendees to bring a snack to share and something to exchange with others, if you’d like. At Primavera, we’re inviting you to bring a plant—either a houseplant start or a garden plant to share!

DATE: Saturday, April 11th, 2026

TIME: 7pm-11pm

Doors open at 7:00pm! Come to the garden to make a flower crown, get a tarot reading, visit our interactive stations, and meet Moms*Rage members!

Dance begins at 8:00pm and ends by 11:00pm.

LOCATION: No Divide KC, 1600 Genessee St, Suite 200

WE PROVIDE: Beverages—alcoholic and non. An unmatched container for fun, friendship, and empowerment. No skips playlist. Crafts and interactive activities.

YOU BRING: Yourself (+ID), a fave party snack to share, a plant to swap (optional), and a water bottle to hydrate! (We’ll follow up closer to time with additional event details!)

WHAT TO WEAR: dress for a celebration of SPRING, rebirth, growth, renewal, sunshine, gardens, and your own joy! You can be a flower, a gardener, a fairy, moss, a mushroom, the sun, etc... Here’s some inspo, but truly, wear whatever you want.

FUND-RAGING FOR: DECARCERATE KC. Decarcerate KC aims to raise awareness, build power, and create change around issues of incarceration and policing in Kansas City. They are multiracial, multigenerational organization that centers those impacted by incarceration and policing in order to end the reliance on incarceration and policing, and build a safer Kansas City for all.

Your sliding scale ticket will go towards our community fundraiser to support their work—please pay what you can!!
