We can’t wait to see you this Friday, May 2nd, to rage for Trans Joy KC and dance our little hearts out.

DANCE LOCATION: the Black Box at BlaqOut  

3601 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111 (Former Alejandro Design Studio building)

*There is an ADA accessible entrance.

ARRIVAL: Doors OPEN at 7:30pm and LOCK AT 8:30PM for safety.(You are of course always free to exit!) No late entries unless pre-arranged. Thanks for understanding!

PARKING: The building has one lot and street parking in the neighborhood, along 36th Street, 37th, Walnut, Warwick, etc. 

SAFETY: Masks are not required, but please prioritize community care and do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms of flu/covid/colds. Thank you for helping us keep each other safe.

7:30p CHECK-IN

Grab a drink, yap it up, and visit our interactive stations. 

8:30p WELCOME + DANCE!

We'll also have a quiet area & sitting activities like puzzles & crafts for folks who just feel like hanging out!

11:00p END/Community clean-up!

BRING

ID. There are no physical tickets. We will check you in with your name & ID.(We gotta check you’re 21+ to drink.)
2. Your fave
SNACK TO SHARE. Just a lil something! We always have plenty. (We'll provide alcoholic and NA beverages!) 
3. A
WATER BOTTLE, if you’d like!

WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?! Our (just for fun) theme is “dress for your middle school self,” but TRULY wear whatever and don’t let an outfit stop you from coming. Dress for your own comfort & enjoyment!

Set-up: We’ll be setting up at 6pm on Friday! You can meet us at the event space!

Bartenders: We’ll give you instructions on site! :)

Clean-up: just stick around at the end and we’ll knock it out altogether!

You’re welcome to just show up & pitch in on site.
